Once you sign up for a subscription plan you’ll need to opt in on the Interest page in-app to start earning interest on everything in your spending and savings account. Depending on your plan, the interest is an annual rate that’s calculated daily and paid out monthly to maximize your earnings. You’ll start earning once you choose to opt in.
KOHO is a Canadian Fintech company that’s based in Toronto. While it’s not a bank, KOHO offers spending accounts in Canada in Partnership with People’s Trust. KOHO has a mobile app and a prepaid Mastercard and is only available in Canada.
The short answer – yes! Since KOHO comes with a prepaid Mastercard, you can shop online with your KOHO card on any website or online store that accepts Mastercard.
KOHO charges no hidden fees and our Easy subscription plan is completely free! Our Essential plan is $4 a month, or $48 per year, and gives you 1% cash back on groceries ,transportation, and eating & drinking, as well as 0.25% cash back on everything else, our Extra plan costs $9 a month, or $84 a year, and gives you 2% cash back on groceries, transport, eating & drinking, 0.5% cash back on everything else, and 3% interest on your balance, and our Everything plan is a $19 month, or $228 a year, and give you the same cash back as Extra, but 4.5% interest on your entire balance.
